Read and share: Flyer on the Corridors Project
Apartments are Coming to Your Neighborhood!
The City of Roseville is proposing to add at least 850 high-density housing units to these corridors:
● Atlantic Corridor – Enwood Neighborhood
● Douglas Corridor – Hillcrest / Folsom Rd. / Harding Neighborhoods
● Sunrise Corridor – Sierra Gardens / Lead Hill Neighborhoods
The City calls this the “Commercial Corridors Project.”
Workshops, surveys, and website have mostly focused on murals, monuments, and streetscapes …
… but this project is really about adding
HIGH-DENSITY, LOW-INCOME APARTMENTS!
City Planners need to be more candid in their communications and outreach!
Three new specific plans will dictate all of the details about where this development will happen, what it will look like, parking, traffic circulation, proximity to adjacent homes … with no further input allowed after the specific plans are approved later this year. But time is running out!
These New Specific Plans Will Be Very Important to You!
SPEAK UP NOW ABOUT THE FUTURE OF YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!
Email the City to let them know how you feel TODAY!
850 High-Density, Low-Income Units is TOO MANY!
Urge formation of a Citizen Advisory Committee to help shape this plan!
1. Email City Planners with your comments to corridorplans@roseville.ca.us
2. Email the City Council (one email goes to all): citycouncil@roseville.ca.us
3. Email the City Manager at: citymanager@roseville.ca.us
4. Attend and speak up at City Planning Commission and Council meetings
